Thanks for stopping by!!

I have found so much inspiration that I have started sharing my own addiction of tablescaping. Please feel free to join me as I enter my journey and share my passion for decorating with all my lovely little "treasures".

I decorate my home with vintage, thrift store, yard sale and hand me down items. I shop ebay with a vengance for dinnerware and glassware, the postal service must adore me!

I am very casual, but a bit fussy when it comes down to details. I have spent two thirds of my life in the south, but the southerners say my "nothern side" still comes out! I am guessing this is not such a good thing....and visa versa when I am around my northern relatives, "give me a break"!

Join me any way.......I hope we can be blogging buddies no matter where we all live :)

:*~:*~:*~Happy Pink New Year:*~:*~:*~

Happy New Year
From my home to yours

Pink Saturday gave me the perfect oppurtunity to bring out some pink balloons and curling ribbon to make my table girly for the occasion:*~:*~:*~Not that I ever need a reason!  My Gold flatware is actually my friend Brandy's~ Mine was just not "doing what I needed it to do" and hers was the perfect touch!
Let's dim the lights~~~~~~~~~~~
I am praying that this new year is more of what last year brought. Laughter, kindness, new dear friends and more time with my adoring family. Danny.....My "spoiling me rotten" husband? I love you the mostest of all, you are the best husband in the world! I know God created you just for me!
I Pray that everyone in my life, knows how very much I love and adore them!

Winter Wonderland

I hope this is worth the wait.  I know I haven't done a table in quite some time.  Not lazy, just very busy!
Anika and I have been away for awhile but, we worked hard over the holidays on a charity project.
We worked very hard on this one.  It took us most of the day and we were VERY tired.

Christmas ornaments double as napkin rings

My "boopie" glasses were a bargain as I traded them for something on a facebook swapping sight.  The frosted polka dot wine glasses were a thrift store find~ a set of six for four dollars I think!

I hope you enjoyed our

I'll Be Home For Christmas

My daughter sending Christmas wishes to her Bestest Friend in the whole wide world cuz they cannot spend it together!
It's hard spending the holidays away from the ones you love, it's even harder when you really don't have to.

I will be missing my Daughter Amy and my grandchildren "Smooch"and Noodle" but, they will be close to me in my heart.  "Nana loves you!"  They made this awesome pedestal cake plate and sent it to me.....look at their little hands!  "Noodle" not even a year old and "Smooch" wasn't yet 5.  Think I don't love this gift? Try getting it from my cold dead hands!

I have been doing a LOT of volunteer work this year.  I have been a bad little blogger, I am so sorry.  I have not posted a  tablescape in like a million years?  Please don't give up on me!!!  I will be back to my normal routine I promise, just as soon as the holidays are over!  I will make it worth your wait....I will "knock your socks off"!!!

This is "Frankenbaby".  Named after, yep Frankenstein!  She doesn't look creepy to me, I love her!  My family seems to think she is a little weird and doesn't like her :(. I made her a little tree so she wouldn't be sad from all the negative attention.  She gets put in the closet all the time!  I finally put a pink dress on her and NOW she STAYS in the living room!

Well that's it from my little corner of the world.

Shopping for the "Christmas Boys"

Had to "fuel up" I don't know why the awful faces but, I think they add to our charm lol!
Once we stuffed our faces with Italian fast food, we were ready to head next door and be brave big girls and start shopping!

Well there are a few little treats for "Shan~Shan" and I in this full trunk of mine but, not many! Our Christmas boys have it full of toys, candy, clothes, socks, underwear (boxers of course) toothbrushes and personal hygiene items.Of course we didn't forget to get a little something for mom!
We were BEAT and needed more FUEL.....Did you know there is a new place in Johnson City Y'all?
Thank You

You are awesome...Generous, kind, sweet and Loveable.  Your faith in us as as a group is overwhelming and we will try to never let you down!

Letters of the Alphabet!

Now that I have all my "big person" intials on the tree, it's time to start hunting for the "little kids":*~:*~Their's will have to be Super Special, cuz They are Super Special:*~:*~:*~:*~:*~
I couldn't find their matching initials but, then I thought later "why didn't I just use their nicknames?" DUH Nana!

So this is another tree of mine in my hubby's "man land". :*~:*~ Very traditional and standard just for him!  Of course I get to decorate all of them but, I try to keep in mind his need and wants.......he has a couple smaller ones in another corners that I will show you on the grand tour!  (One is a very strange color, yes stranger than pink.)

So Wayne and Foo what do you think now that you are official? My two sons, No matter what, always part of my family.....You guy make me proud.

I just got hit with a nasty "bug" and am a little under the weather.  I am pretty sure it's due to all the unpacking of Christmas stuff, allergies!!  Well I am crossing my fingers any way cuz I haven't had my flu shot yet!

Where are you in your holiday decorating?

Pinkness to come!

Well all those fall colors are fine but, they just are not me! I had to start dragging out my Christmas stuff and my fluffy teddy bear tree was at the top of the pile!!! Yay!  This year I am finding curling ribbon is a must, it looks so dainty and frilly:*~:*~:*~:*~:*~and tiny pearls are soooo delicate.  I have fallen in love all over again with this tree.  Last year it was covered in tiny bears, I like this ultra feminine look!

I don't know how many trees I will put up in this 1000 square ft house this year but, there are 7 right now.
You will just have to come back and check

My New ~Ooo~La~La~La~ Pink Lamps

I found new pink treasure!! Look at my lamps~~are they not to die for? A pair set me back a whole $40 bucks and I am tickled pink~:*They have some slight paint loss and some wear to the goltone finish but, I am not a perfectionist!

When they are turned on (they are electric) they cast the most perfect shade of pink around the room.

I Put the other lamp on Anika's table in the living room.  I placed some of my other new pink finds around it.  On my recent trip to Nashville with the cross country team I picked up a pink mercury like glass candlestick at Ross!  Oh she is a dream and looks very vintage.
And here is another new "goody" !  A wintery rose centerpiece that I had custom made by a new friend of mine.  It looks like snow has fallen on branches of evergreen and wintery white branches.  Thanks Beth for the beauty that is now mine!  She also sold me the lamps...lol, I was into her for a LOT of cash!
Well that's my table and my new pink lamps:*~:*~:*~Oh the cross country team?  We went to Nashville for state competition.  We are a small school and only had three who were qualified this year. Two of those won ALL~STATE!
Our Maddison (not my daughter but my daughter's best friend) is the first girl in school history to do this~~Never been so proud of a runner before!

Anika did this one all by herself.
She was a little lazy today and didn't feel like loading up and taking it outside, but I gave her a break. (even though it would have been awesome out there!)
I did convince her to take out the iron once she was all done and start over!

Guess I am pretty proud, so proud I made her a little scrapbook.  Please take a moment to check it out above.
She found some of my little stash of mini pumpkins to scatter about.  A glitter black pumpkin to add some drama. Candles, of course you need candles!

Of course It gets a little frustrating to take pics cuz something pink and chic always seems to make it into the background!

I try to make a room that is neutral, but it never stays that way for long.  The room always end up one shade of pink wether I try or not

How was your week?

Boy I am still tired!

Been Away....But Here I Am!

We played just a little today my Ani and me.
We have had this china just sitting around and today was the day.  Nothing fancy, just a quick little table.
The holidays are officially on us and you can really feel it!  Everything is getting so hectic.

My Anika's cross country team did very well in regionals and three members are going to STATE! I know she wished she was going to....but that darn injured "paw".  Her best girlfriend Maddison is the first girl in school history to make it to state competition, so we are very exited!

Well I guess this really isn't so much about this table is it?  More like catching up!  I have been out of the loop for awhile and needed to touch base!

Anika is busy right this second doing her own version of a Halloween table!  Hopefully she will do a great job and we will share it with you in the morning!  After all she is a Newbie too so we will post her on Debbiedoo's !

I will try not to stay gone so long next time!
:*~Gosh who am I kidding, it's the holiday season, we will all get CrAzY busy won't we?:*~

My New Bust

I picked up a bust from a nice lady in town who sells on ebay.  I won an auction and she was sweet enough to let me dig through her stash.
I knew I had to have this little gem and of course she had to be dressed in pink.  I know, I know, AGAIN it is Sunday and I am behind!

Here is my post for Pink Saturday.
Pearls, pearls and more pearls adorn my new bust.  Two of my favorite scarves and two of my favorite vintage rhinestone brooches.  I tucked a vintage hankie, edged with tatted lace, into her cleavage so she would seem demure.
