Thanks for stopping by!!

I have found so much inspiration that I have started sharing my own addiction of tablescaping. Please feel free to join me as I enter my journey and share my passion for decorating with all my lovely little "treasures".

I decorate my home with vintage, thrift store, yard sale and hand me down items. I shop ebay with a vengance for dinnerware and glassware, the postal service must adore me!

I am very casual, but a bit fussy when it comes down to details. I have spent two thirds of my life in the south, but the southerners say my "nothern side" still comes out! I am guessing this is not such a good thing....and visa versa when I am around my northern relatives, "give me a break"!

Join me any way.......I hope we can be blogging buddies no matter where we all live :)

Paris in the Back Yard

I am sure the professional photographer will have better pictures, but until then....these are some "teasers" for you to enjoy.
It was so much fun to set up and so much fun to watch the kids absorb it all~they forgot to listen to the cd of romantic music from Paris though :(

The silver wasn't polished to perfection, but they didn't mind because they did it themselves!  The china was mix and matched from vintage to brand new.  My favorite is the Paris plates from 222Fifth, one of my favorite companies to buy dinnerware!  Noritake pink breeze goblets (yummy) were later filled with ice cold sweet tea.

You will have to come back later to see what  Mary did!  She took some Awesome Pics!  Maybe I will even share one or two of the kids in their amazing prom attire!

:*~:*~Ready to Bloom~:*~:*~

This is my table project for tonight......thrown together while the teenagers took a walk.  I wanted to get my new pink Noritake goblets out and play and I had exactly 20 minutes.  I know I will redo this table later and actually use linen napkins and spread this luscious tablecloth out, but it was just something I had to "get out of my system".
I have decided to start a little business and rent out these tablescapes that I will create....I mean I have enough dinnerware, china, glassware, silverware here for everybod...why not share?

If you are looking to make a table that feels extra special, romantic...shabby, colorful....I can hand delivery them anywhere and make sure you have the dishes and accesories to set an adorable table.  You cook and I will bring the dishes...I will even take them back dirty so you don't have to wash them....some of my peices are antiques and I prefer to handwash them myself....so how is that for a deal?
I have plenty of options and will be posting a lot of different tables in the next little while, including vintage linens, fiestaware, silverplate, fine china, kids stuff etc.  However I am staying away from big events and I will probably keep it limited to very intimate affairs.

I love the romantic settings most of all and will go out of my way to make a romatic dinner for two very special....even if you are having burgers and fries in your office in the middle of the afternoon.
