Someone sweet just handed me this vintage tablecloth and napkin set as a gift! I had shown her a link of my blog and this little treasure was mine! Ummmm, its a beauty to say the least. I wish I would have taken a picture of the tablecloth still in the box untouched and still folded perfectly from the factory.
Can't decide if this is a bridal luncheon or a baby shower.....dang, I could have put little gifts on each plate! I hate when good ideas come to me after the fact.
My friend Brandy, that lives next door just happens to make the best desserts! She had her daughter Kailey bring over these Delicious cupcakes:*~:*~ Strawberry filled strawberry cupcakes....they didn't last long! We would have had enough for every plate, but they smelled so good and we were a little hungry........Brandy? Next time you bake, will you let me know and I will set up the table faster? lol :*~:*~
I pondered if I should keep it in the box, but shouldn't it be used? Really, come one she's a beauty!

ReplyDeleteMichele you k know we need pictures!!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful table and a treasure of a tablecloth . . . and even though it HASN"T been used -- I feel sure treasures should! In fact I think damask gets prettier -- a sort of patina when it is used!
ReplyDeleteThe table looks so elegant and dreamy! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you on my blog:)
Your tablecloth is GORGEOUS!! I love vintage linens, especially damask. The table looks beautiful and the cupcakes sound delicious>
ReplyDeleteOh, HECK YES you have to use this often! Pretty things should be used often to make you feel good! What a nice gesture! Very nice! The pale blue is gorgeous, and your neighbor's cupcakes look super tasty! I'm not sure I would have ANY of them survive long enough to make it into the photos!
