I got so excited "playing" with all my treasures
that if you look, you can see sooooo much wrong!
Silverware missing here and there, how is a person supposed to eat with out a spoon?
Some of my vintage china comes along with is own character! See? This one has it's very own chip! I am not sure how the chip got in it, who did it or even how old the chip is, but I don't mind the chip at all. I imagine someone, maybe a child even, having a little faux pas at the table and never saying a word to a hostess.
Who remembers paper straws? I remember them from when I was a kid!
Now they weren't around for long, so I am not THAT old, but these are so
reminiscent of years past.......I HAD to have them! Maybe I will serve strawberry soda with a splash of vanilla ice cream in this vintage glass~Yum!

Night time falls........
The mood changes. The candles come out.
I suppose I cannot get away from creating a pink tablescape every chance I get. It calms me to take out my Noritake goblets and place them with anything that has pink roses scrolling through it
It's so "girly" so romantic.....what girl couldn't fall in love at this table?
Strawberries and sugar maybe? A cool summer salad? Maybe the menu doesn't matter, mabe it's the conversation.
I imagine this a tablescape for an outside affair, under the stars with a cool night breeze. Fireflies, a bottle of wine and maybe a kiss or two.
