I have found so much inspiration that I have started sharing my own addiction of tablescaping. Please feel free to join me as I enter my journey and share my passion for decorating with all my lovely little "treasures".

I decorate my home with vintage, thrift store, yard sale and hand me down items. I shop ebay with a vengance for dinnerware and glassware, the postal service must adore me!

I am very casual, but a bit fussy when it comes down to details. I have spent two thirds of my life in the south, but the southerners say my "nothern side" still comes out! I am guessing this is not such a good thing....and visa versa when I am around my northern relatives, "give me a break"!

My $2.00 China

Ok.  Everyone who knows me, knows I LOVE a bargain!  I will search out  stores for the best prices until I find a price I like.  What I love even better is finding hidden treasure at a bargain price!!

To you these may look like dishes....Oh please, these are treasure!  I love dinnerware......nope, dinnerware adores me!  I am a collector.  

I just started this crazy little obsession (thanks to Candice introducing me to this thing called "blogland" giggle) a few months ago.  Setting my table with different china, stoneware and vintage ironestone has become a wonderful hobby.  Now if I had the time to cook~~ my family would be very very happy and we would all be fat!

This lovely little 16 piece set cost me under $3.00.  It's just  simple white porcelain with  platinum bands.  From the K-Mart boutique (giggle) on clearance for 9.99.  I had some points on the good old K-mart rewards card!  So the total was phenomenal!!! 

Now stay where you are!!!!  There were 2 more sets and I am heading back down there...I am getting one more set!  I will have a set of 8, you know, in case I have the president over for dinner one day!  Hey, you never know!  What an awesome gift though, or something to hand down?  I get tickled over the smallest things.

Maybe, just maybe.........I will make some fancy dinner for four or eight, it has happened!
